TR-2 as Coach and Pc: Section 2
Page 3 of 3: Drill 3
Place a real doll or teddy bear or something in front of you to be a terminal you can say things to. Don't just talk out into open space and imagine someone or something there.
- This is Drill 3. It is a very short drill.
- Say Line 1 from the Alice list: "How queer it seems to be going messages for a rabbit".
- Click on Ack 1. We will assume it is an acceptable ack to the line you gave. Then say to the student, "What did I just say?". Click "Next 1". The student will give back the line you just gave. Say "Good".
- Yeah, yeah, it's a bit silly. At least you are not going to be graded on doing these steps correctly. And it is very silly if you give a different line and the computer gives you back the wrong line. Ha ha.
- But this is to get you into the swing of at least asking this question, as it is part of the regular TR-2 drilling.
- Do it twice more with lines two and three.
- Then go on to the Student Drills.
