Page 2 of 2: Drill 5

Here you will be making and reviewing short recordings of your voice. Refer back to the instructions page if you need to. It is a waste of time to try and do this drill here without a microphone.
  1. For Drill 5, start the recorder, and record the same line--"What a curious feeling"--in your own, natural voice.

  2. Listen to the recording. Practise a few times if you want, but don't worry about trying to get it perfect for right now. This will be drilled more in Section 2. Note to yourself that it sounds natural, like you (more or less).

  3. Click the link that best describes what you just heard in your recording, namely "It did sound like me".

  4. Note the "Good" grade from the coach. Close out any open window/movie.

  5. Do the above steps again if needed until you are familiar with this procedure.

  6. Click "End of drilling for now" and hear the coach say, "That's it". Now you are no longer drilling, but you should continue with this TRs 0-4 program until you reach the end of this time period you set for yourself.
